STEPHANIE:

We both like to cook, so we take turns or sometimes cook together. [Claudia] hates to clean and I don’t mind it, so I do more of that…. We share shopping and laundry fifty-fifty.

Ron (African American/Indian American) and Greg (Irish American), together for almost ten years, have this to say.

RON:

We both do what needs to be done. We share equally the cleaning and shopping, the laundry. I do more of the cooking, but that’s because I’m just better at it.

GREG:

We try to do most things equally. [Ron’s] a better cook than I, and he likes to cook, so he does most of the cooking. Otherwise, we share everything fifty-fifty.
